Broker Dealer/Operations Administration Lead

As our Brokerage Operations Administration Lead, you will have primary responsibility for ensuring smooth operation of the day-to-day functions of Bumped Financial, the Broker-Dealer that powers the Bumped stock rewards program. 

The ideal candidate is someone who has strong administrative skills, knowledge of broker dealer operations including back office functions related to customer accounts like account opening and account maintenance. You will work closely with the Broker-Dealer leadership team to build a scalable and efficient operations model. The role is best filled by a detail oriented, self motivated team player who can develop and carry out processes to support daily operations.

What you will do:

  • Daily administration of supervisory and operational activities relating to the broker dealer
  • Projects to build out and scale operational functions
  • Identify operational processes that can be refined or automated
  • Design and monitor exception reports
  • Ensure supervisory controls are followed, tracked, and, documented
  • Provide ongoing supervisory administration related to user account maintenance, including account openings, closures and updates
  • Ability to eventually hire and lead a team

Experience & Skills

  • Finra Series 7 and 24 required
  • Interest in fintech, startups, and reimagining personal finance 
  • Brokerage operations/trading experience
  • Strong attention to detail and solid administrative skills
  • Ledger management experience
  • Understanding of FINRA and SEC Regulatory framework for Broker-Dealers
  • Knowledge of trading, clearance, corporate actions, ACATS, and settlement
  • Experience with firm account reconciliation and trade corrections/rebills
  • Motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability

  • Experience responding to customer inquiries and or complaints
  • Experience reviewing advertising
  • Prior experience working with Apex Clearing
  • Basic SQL skills
